Hi there,

Welcome to my blog! First of all, let me introduce myself. I’m Shweta (Sh-way-tha). I was born in India, and eventually moved to London when I was really young. I have always had an eye for all things creative, and that’s why I have chosen to follow a career path to the film industry. I study Film, Television and Digital Production, and like any other university course, it’s pretty challenging at points. My passion for filmmaking began when I was about 10 years old and my parents let me play around with a bulky camcorder. I took videos of literally anything, and I realised that this is something I wanted to do everyday. School wasn’t as fun for me, I wasn’t a big fan of the academic subjects. They were interesting and vital, don’t get me wrong, but I knew it wasn’t something I was passionate about. Soon after, I began to take photos of random things in my garden. Eventually, photography became a big hobby too. I am constantly inspired by so many amazing photographers around the world, and I believe Instagram has been a very important part to my life. I was able to discover new photographers and see how styles and preferences differ.

Anyways, enough about me. Let me tell you more about this blog. I previously named my blog ‘passporttoanywhere’ – simply meaning that I want to travel anywhere and everywhere. However, I realised that I wanted to post more than just travel related stuff. I have a big passion for fashion and beauty as well, so I wanted to incorporate more content onto my blog. That’s why my blog is now known as ‘mylifestylemantra’. Mantra, an Indian term, is sort of like a motto. I want my blog to display my improvements and how I change myself for the better. I want to try new things out, from photography styles to fashion trends. I like to think of my blog as a bit of everything, a bit of fashion, a bit of photography and a bit of beauty - there's no specific category.
